JoJo became popular when she appeared on the reality dance show 'Dance Moms' in 2011. She later competed in Abby Lee's 'Ultimate Dance Competition' and 'The Masked Singer'. Besides, she was the runner-up on ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' and made history as one-half of the first same-sex pair to compete on the show. She is also a mentor and choreographer for the girl group XOMG POP! In 2021, JoJo came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, revealing she was queer. After her coming out, JoJo went public with Kylie Prew in February 2021.
JoJo Siwa and Kylie Prew relationship timeline
JoJo Siwa met Kylie Prew on a cruise ship in 2020, and they hit it off right away. They remained friends, but almost a year after their meeting, Prew came out as gay and asked Siwa to be her girlfriend. “She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world,” JoJo posted on Instagram at the time. “And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more every day.”
However, the duo called it quits in October 2021. JoJo confirmed their separation on Paris Hilton's 'This Is Paris' podcast, saying that although they are no longer together, they are still best friends. She even mentioned that her hectic schedule and age contributed to the split.
After staying single for a few months, JoJo revealed in March 2022 that she was dating someone. “We’re not single,” the singer said on an episode of the podcast 'Rachel Uncensored.' “I say ‘we’re’ because it’s me and my multiple personalities within myself. … I am not single and I don’t want to mingle. No, I’m a loyal lady.”
JoJo later confirmed on Instagram that the lucky lady was indeed Kylie Prew. On May 5, she shared two Instagram photos of them posing in front of the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World, writing in the caption, "If you love something let it go, if it comes back..." along with a heart emoji and infinity symbol.
