John McCain's wife Cindy joins Joe Biden’s transition team advisory board, Internet says 'she's lost her way'
The widow of Vietnam war veteran and 2008 Republican presidential nominee John McCain, Cindy McCain is making sure everybody knows she is Team Joe Biden. According to a report on Monday, November 9, Cindy is going to be a part of Joe Biden’s transition team advisory board. During his campaign, President Donald Trump infamously said of her late husband John: “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured ... He lost and let us down. I’ve never liked him as much after that. I don’t like losers.”
Now, with President-elect Joe Biden preparing to enter the White House, the 66-year-old will give her advice while the team of Biden will work toward turning their campaign promises into policies that can be put in place once he joins the office. It has been said that the widow of the Republican Senator will be offering her advice to the Democrat’s team on issues concerning women and children.
Reports also stated that Cindy is the second Republican to work with a Democratic president-elect’s team. Before her, Veterans Affairs Secretary Bob McDonald worked with the then-President Barack Obama’s administration. The board of Biden’s transition team reportedly met recently as they prepare to meet again soon. On November 7, after the former vice president was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election, Cindy tweeted, “Congratulations to my dear friend and President-elect @JoeBiden Vice-President-elect @KamalaHarris. Its time to move beyond politics and toward building a stronger America. I know Joe will unify the country toward a better future." This tweet was quite reminiscent of her endorsement of Biden back in September when she had tweeted: “My husband John lived by a code: country first. We are Republicans, yes, but Americans foremost. There's only one candidate in this race who stands up for our values as a nation, and that is @JoeBiden.”
Congratulations to my dear friend and President-elect @JoeBiden Vice-President-elect @KamalaHarris. Its time to move beyond politics and toward building a stronger america. I know Joe will unify the country toward a better future.

As the news of Cindy joining Biden’s team came to light many people took to Twitter to share their views. One user wrote, “I feel like we keep getting the same handful of people in positions of power over and over and over... and the American people are all in this giant spin cycle of their corruption.. Is anyone ever going to stop this madness?!?” The second user said, “What little like I had for McCain is gone. He’s been a thorn in the side of USA. Even with being dead, his family he continues to f things up.”

“Oh. I guess that is why she stumped for the campaign in Arizona..it was a job audition,” quipped another one. “A make-believe transition team from a make-believe president select wanting to go to a make-believe white house. Interesting,” a user joked, while another believes Cindy 'has lost her way'. Many were of the belief that John would be rolling in his grave, while some said her aim was to get an ambassadorship.
I don’t think John McCain would go that far. She’s lost her way

Interesting.
😂
No way i see Cindy has joined a advisory board of Biden. Her late husband would be rolling in his grave. Yeah, they were friends behind the scenes, but politically could not stand each other. Wow.

This comes after Cindy was credited for winning votes from Arizona for the Democratic party. And when last week, the Democrat received Arizona’s 11 electoral votes by winning over swing voters, people did not shy away from hailing Cindy. One such user said, “Cindy McCain was the voice of her husband and for all of us for Arizona.” The second user wrote, “Thank you, Cindy McCain! I know that Senator McCain's spirit lives within you and he would be so proud.” While the third one added: “Here’s my perspective: Congratulations, Cindy McCain. You helped us win Arizona.” "Cindy McCain is a superstar!” tweeted a person.
