Internet stunned over John Fetterman's 180-degree shift after his remarks on George Santos' expulsion

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Senator John Fetterman recently made an appearance on ‘The View’ where he shared his thoughts on George Santos’ expulsion from Congress.

Fetterman’s response made its rounds on social media and was also shared by Fox News anchor Sean Hannity.

Hannity claimed that Fetterman was “making sense” after he spoke about Santos while also mentioning Senator Bob Menendez, and how “he needs to go.”

After Hannity shared a clip of Fetterman’s appearance on ‘The View’, the internet agreed with Hannity as they backed claims made by the Senator on the daytime talk show.

On X, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity quoted John Fetterman from his appearance on ‘The View,’ “FETTERMAN: “We have a colleague in the Senate that actually does much more sinister and serious kinds of things: Sen. Menendez. He needs to go. And if you are going to expel Santos, how can you allow somebody like Menendez to remain in the Senate?”

Attached to this was an article from Hannity’s website, titled, “FETTERMAN MAKING SENSE: Keystone Senator Reacts to Santos Vote, Asks ‘Why Not Menendez?’”

In the article, Hannity mentioned that Fetterman’s reaction to Santos’ expulsion was “surprising.”

Hannity also shared a clip of Fetterman where ‘The View’ host Joy Behar asked him, “You’ve also been calling to get of Menendez, but first before we talk about that, what’s your reaction to the expulsion?”

Fetterman responded, “Well, it’s like, I’m not surprised, but to me, the more important picture is…we have a colleague in the Senate that actually does much more sinister and serious kinds of things: Senator Menendez. He needs to go.”

Fetterman also added, “And if you are going to expel Santos, how can you allow somebody like Menendez to remain in the Senate?”

After John Fetterman shared his thoughts on George Santos, while he also drew attention to Bob Menendez, the internet agreed with the Senator.
