Donald Trump's 'Republicans eat their young' remark takes the Internet by storm

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Saturday, October 14, former President Donald Trump took over Truth Social, to talk about “RINO Paul Ryan, Mitt The Loser Romney, Bill No Guts or Talent Barr,” when he made a statement about Republicans.

Trump said, “Republicans eat their young,” and this clip made the rounds on social media platforms like Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter.

‘Morning Joe’ host Joe Scarborough also shared a 6-second clip of Trump, focussing on the aforementioned words. In addition, the internet thinks this would make for a brilliant campaign ad for Joe Biden. 

Donald Trump points out the 'problem' 

On Truth Social, former President Donald Trump shared a video of himself where he said, “I understand Candidates that are losing by 57 to 70 Points are getting together with RINO Paul Ryan, Mitt The Loser Romney, Bill No Guts or Talent Barr.”

He continued, “and some broken political investors that will soon come to me, as most others already have. These failed candidates should have started by campaigning effectively, which they didn’t because they don’t have the skill or the talent to do so…”

Trump added, “Romney, who today couldn’t get elected dog-catcher in the great state of Utah, should have beaten, and absolutely failed first-term Obama. Should have beaten him very easily. If he and RINO Paul fought against Obama as they do against President Donald J Trump, they would never have lost. They would have beaten Obama.”

“But remember: Republicans eat their young. They really do, they eat their young. Terrible statement, but it’s true. And that’s the problem with so many in our party,” said Trump.

Trump also added, “They just don’t have the loyalty and the strength to stick together. They go after people who are on their side, rather than the radical-left Democrats that are destroying our country.”

Joe Scarborough quotes Donald Trump

On X, ‘Morning Joe’ host Joe Scarborough quoted Donald Trump’s clip from Truth Social and wrote, “Remember, Republicans eat their young. They really do. Terrible statement but it’s true.-Donald Trump.”

“Some on the web speculated the teleprompter probably said ‘eat their own,’” according to Huff Post.

Internet responds to Donald Trump, says it's 'perfect' for Joe Biden's campaign  

In response to Donald Trump’s “eat their young” statement which was shared by ‘Morning Joe’ host Joe Scarborough, the internet was quick to respond.

One person wrote, “Biden campaign ads just write themselves.”

Trump faced backlash for his comment, “Jeez. what wrong with him,” wrote one user, and another said, “Says the really old disgraced former president who looks overfed.”

One user said, “What a perfect ad for @JoeBiden,” and another also resonated and wrote, “I think we just found the next Biden campaign ad.”

“Here’s hoping I see a lot of @TheDemocrats ads with this,” wrote a user on X.
