Joe Biden says 'evil' Hamas makes 'al Qaeda look pure', Internet slams him for 'ridiculous' comparison
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA: During his speech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on October 13, Joe Biden said that the al Qaeda terrorists look “pure” when compared to the “evil” Hamas.
After Biden's comments went viral, he was targeted by angry netizens who said it was a “ridiculous comparison."
Dressed in his signature suit and an aviator, Biden said of the Palestinian militant outfit, “These guys make — they make Al Qaeda look pure. They’re pure evil,” before adding, “As I said from the beginning, the United States, make no mistake about it, stands with Israel.”
Al Qaeda, once led by Osama Bin Laden, was responsible for the terror attack on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, that killed 2,977 people, on September 11, 2001.
What did Joe Biden say about Hamas?
During his public address in Philadelphia, Biden said that he had spoken with the family members of the 14 Americans who are missing.
While some among the 14 missing Americans are feared to have been taken as hostages, at least 27 US citizens have died in the Hamas-Israel War.
Biden said in the meeting, “This morning I spoke with the family members of all those Americans who are still unaccounted for on a Zoom call for about an hour and 10-15 minutes.”
He continued, “They’re going through agony not knowing what the status of their sons, daughters, husbands, wives, children are,” according to the New York Post.
“You know, it’s gut-wrenching. I assured them my personal commitment to do everything possible — everything possible — to return every missing American to their families,” reassured the President.
He also pledged to bring the missing citizens home, saying, “We’re working around the clock to secure the release of Americans held by Hamas, in close cooperation with Israel and our partners around the region,” before continuing, “And we’re not going to stop until we bring them home.”
In the humanitarian crisis in Palestine and Israel, at least 1,300 Israelis are reported to have died. The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that around 1,900 Palestinians have lost their lives in the war that started on October 7, per CNN.

"What makes Israel more important than Palestinians? Biden and his cohorts should learn to embrace peace and seek final solutions to Palestinians' agitation," quipped one user.
