Joe Biden in hot water after Fox News anchor Sean Hannity mocks POTUS' foreign aid to Palestine, Ukraine, and Israel

In FY2023, Congress reportedly authorized $520 million for joint US-Israel defense programs, of which, $500 million was designated for missile defense

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly Twitter, to report about President Joe Biden’s foreign aid for Palestine, Ukraine, and Israel.

Hannity mocked Biden in his article and said, “Aid is flying out of the country faster than Congress can keep track of it. Biden seems to be constantly asking for financial support to send to Palestinians, Ukraine, and Israel (to name a few).”

It was reported that Senators Joe Manchin, Jon Tester, Jacky Rosen, Bob Casey, Tammy Baldwin, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Sherrod Brown have supported freezing the $6 billion Iranian funds.

On the other hand, Republicans who did not support blocking the Iran deal included Senators Cindy Hyde-Smith, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Jerry Moran, Lisa Murkowski, James Risch, and Eric Schmitt.

Following this news, the internet slammed the POTUS as they replied to Hannity’s tweet. Several social media users accused Biden of making the “US his personal piggy bank.”

Sean Hannity reports on Joe Biden’s financial aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Palestine

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “*BILLIONS AND BILLIONS AND BILLIONS*.”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website which was titled “BIDEN'S BUDGET: Here's a Look at Foreign Aid Cash for Palestinians, Ukraine, Israel [SEE IT].”

In the article, Hannity added some FAQs on the US aid given by the Biden Administration.

It has been revealed that over $730 million has been sent to Palestinians since Biden took office, as per the New York Post.

According to the government watchdog OpenTheBooks, aid directed to UNRWA has surpassed $1 billion since President Biden assumed office.

In February, the State Department disclosed that it had allocated "over $890 million for Palestinians" from April 2021, with more than $730 million specifically designated for UNRWA.

Coming to Ukraine funding, the Center for Strategic and International Studies has provided an estimate indicating that the Biden administration has allocated approximately $113 billion in support to Ukraine.

The Council on Foreign Relations offers a lower estimate of around $75 billion for the same.

For Israel, in FY2023, Congress authorized $520 million for joint US-Israel defense programs, of which, $500 million was designated for missile defense, as outlined in the FY2023 James M Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act.

As per the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Congress allocated $3.8 billion for Israel, which includes Foreign Military Financing (FMF) and missile defense, in the FY2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act.

Additionally, an extra $98.58 million in funding was allocated for various cooperative defense and nondefense programs.

The Biden administration is reportedly in the process of formulating an aid package for Israel with an estimated value of around $2 billion.

It has also been reported that the administration is working on a foreign aid package, which could reach up to $100 billion. Also, this substantial aid package is not exclusively designated for Israel as it will encompass funding for other purposes, including border security, support for Taiwan, and assistance to Ukraine.

Internet slam Joe Biden on financial aid

Soon after Sean Hannity reported about the financial aid proposed by Biden, users on the internet quickly flooded Fox News anchor’s tweet and brutally bashed the President.

One person wrote, “Joe's answer to everything 💰💰🍦🍦,” while another added, “The U.S. is his personal piggy bank. Our country is being squeezed monetarily dry.”

A person simply called out Biden and said, “Sure he's paying off all the terrorists that gave him money,” while another wrote, “How about putting Billions into America. Like Social Security, Better Health Insurance, Veterans & The homeless   ,I really think it's money laundering.”

One user slammed Biden and wrote, “I wonder how much is making its way into the bank accounts of Joe Biden and/or his relatives?” while another said, “Biden has to go he’s putting America into the ground.”
