Joe Biden holds up a book sending Dems into paroxysms of ecstasy as trolls gleefully line up
NANTUCKET, MASSACHUSETTS: President Joe Biden sent the internet into a frenzy as he was seen holding a copy of 'Democracy Awakening' while walking with his granddaughter Finnegan Biden during their traditional Thanksgiving visit to Nantucket.
The 81-year-old POTUS and his wife Jill Biden arrived on the exclusive island off the coast of Massachusetts on Tuesday, November 21.
Wow. Just look at this amazing photo. People were incredibly excited to see Joe Biden as he walked around Nantucket today. The joy on their faces says it all. Biden is a leader for all, not just some. He cares about every single American. This is awesome. pic.twitter.com/NIsWRKDMVe

After arriving at Nantucket Memorial Airport, the pair was driven straight to the $34 million house of their wealthy friend David Rubenstein, where the family stayed until Sunday, according to the New York Times.
The president took part in the traditional Biden day-after-Thanksgiving activities on Friday, which included eating lunch with his family, shopping locally, and socializing with the Nantucket community as the town's Christmas tree was lit.
Does anyone else find Joe Biden and Hunter Biden strutting around Nantucket distasteful when many Americans are struggling to survive right now?

During the visit, Biden strolled to the Nantucket Books store where First Lady Jill Biden and daughter Ashley were already browsing.
"Can't come without going to the bookstore. We've got a tradition," the president said as he ducked inside, according to CBS News.
After around 20 minutes, he departed with a copy of 'Democracy Awakening', written by historian Heather Cox Richardson. The historian had also interviewed Biden at the White House last year.
Internet reacts to Joe Biden holding ‘Democracy Awakening’
The image of Biden holding ‘Democracy Awakening’ garnered immense social media attention, with some users saying they like a president “who reads.”
Chris D Jackson, an election commissioner from Tennessee, who was appointed to the DNC Platform
Committee in 2020 by the Joe Biden for President campaign, wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “I don't know about you guys, but I like having a president WHO READS,” seemingly taking a jibe at others.

However, there were also some users who trolled Biden. “Can't read a teleprompter, but you think he reads books?” one user slammed. “He should read a book about how the economy works and how to negotiate with terrorists,” said a second.

“He probably thinks he’s holding up a subway sandwich,” another person joked while a person also asked, “Are you sure that book is not titled “Democracy Destruction”? He has nearly completed it.”
“The only reason he has a morning paper is that he doesn't have access to a cell phone. Wonder why? Imagine Biden with his personal phone it would be something to see,” another one slammed.
