Did Joe Biden develop ‘stutter’ recently? Sean Hannity slammed for conspiracy theory over POTUS’ disability
Sean Hannity of Fox News is the latest to have come under fire for mocking President Joe Biden’s stutter on national television. Besides joking about POTUS’ disability, which he has addressed publicly, the host claims Biden developed a stutter only recently. He was also seen imitating the president before his guests.
Raw Story reports, during the Monday, March 8, segment Hannity “doubled-down” on the conspiracy theories about Biden’s health. The conspiracy being, Biden’s stuttering only appeared “recently”. However, it was on Fox News’ ‘The View’ in 2010 when Biden discussed his disability publicly. He had addressed it during his Vice Presidential speech in 2008 as well.

Talking about one of Biden’s clips from earlier in which he stumbles over the word “fitness” and repeats it a couple of times, Hannity turns to his guest Mercedes Schlapp and Dr Ronny Jackson to imitate “POTUS while exaggeratedly stammering when he tried to say ‘fitness’”, reports Raw Story.
“And I’d put my physical and mental fuh,fuh—what’s that word again? Oh, oh, ohh! Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fitness! Fitness!” Hannity reportedly said as his guests laughed.

Twitter users were irked for obvious reasons as the Fox host mercilessly mocked Biden, treating his well-known disability as a conspiracy. One Twitter user wrote, "@seanhannity You're not even good at lying. Saying Biden's stutter just recently appeared? Biden even addressed it accepting the vice-presidential nomination in 2008 on live television. Fox News was there. You realize these facts are on video. At least be a good liar, you a**." Another added, "@SeanHannity saying #JoeBiden is faking a stutter is his version of Rush Limbaugh saying Michael J Fox was faking his Parkinson's. If this is #Hannity's newest contribution to humanity, it makes me even happier Trump lost." One wrote, "@seanhannity @FoxNews Sean is a piece of shit. Biden's stutter is well documented. The fact that he's been able to overcome it with hard work along with his helping others with a stutter is something to be praised not turned into a conspiracy taking point!" During his presidential inaguration in January, Biden moved America with his speech about stuttering. He said, "When I was 11 years old, my speech-language pathologist told me: “Look, John Stossel (the television personality) stutters, and he speaks beautifully. You will be able to do that, too. My therapist was trying to motivate me, but the message was that my goal should be to speak perfectly."
"For me, that was not the case. By age 14, I already knew my stuttering was not going anywhere. Although I’m a fairly strong communicator, I continue to experience stuttering – a neurological condition that impacts the fluent, forward flowing production of speech," he said further.
