The presidential nominee Joe Biden's Celebration For Change fundraiser aired on tonight (July 26) and a whole bunch of music heavyweights also turned up to show their support for the Democratic candidate. Celebrated artistes like John Legend, Andra Day, Adam Lambert, Sara Bareilles, Barbra Streisand, and Dave Matthews all made an appearance tonight. There were some rousing speeches and brilliant musical performances, as these star performers threw their weight behind Joe Biden's bid to reach the White House, and it certainly seemed to have worked a treat. Joe Biden managed to raise over $800,000 dollars in barely two hours, and the hashtag #CelebrationForChange became a trending topic as people excitedly voiced their support for the 77-year-old politician.

The singer Adam Lambert, who has become a household name thanks to his days fronting the rock band Queen, pulled off an incredible, soaring performance of the song 'Ready To Run', which you can view here. As one viewer put it, "Adam is unbelievable, unstoppable. What an epic performance. Love 'Ready To Run'." Another fan tweeted, "Adam Lambert and his awesome song is telling us that Joe Biden will be #ReadyToRun the USA as President of ALL the people from Day 1. #CelebrationForChange."

"Joe Biden is the change we need in the White House”, said Bareilles as she began her incredible performance of 'Brave'. Fans were loving her rendition too, as they noted, "As a musical artist, Sara Bareilles is stellar. And if you follow her, her TL always gives you more reasons to love her. #CelebrationForChange." Another fan exclaimed, "'Say what you want to say and let the words fall out. Honestly, I wanna see you be brave. This song has such an amazing message that is so important right now and always. No wonder it was one of my favorites."

Legend and Day also pulled off a beautiful duet together, harmonizing together on Whitney Houston's 'Greatest Love of All', while also performing songs like 'All Of Me' and 'Remember I Bleed' respectively. Matthews also performed a beautiful song called 'Singing From The Windows' for Joe Biden, while saying that he was the only realistic choice for president in November. The musician also added that he would never have believed the US would be in the state it is now.

Perhaps the speech of the night came from Streisand though, as she delivered an eloquent takedown of Trump and voice her support for Biden. The singer talked about George Floyd and his world-changing impact, the Black Lives Matter protests, and how much of a nightmare Trump was proving to be. She observed that after every recession under a Republican President, a Democrat was stuck cleaning up the mess. She also noted that Biden was part of the Obama administration that led us out of the recession in 2008 and that "He's the leader we need now."

Viewers were unanimously hailing her speech online, with a fan saying, "Whether she sings in poetry or advocates in prose, ⁦@BarbraStreisand⁩ is inspiring & thrilling to listen to." Another supporter went, "Can we just put Barbara Streisand on an ad! She was on point, concise & comprehensive." One more impressed fan tweeted, "Barbra Streisand had me like PREACH, Gurl!!!" while another chimed in, "Barbra Streisand, your speech tonight during the event was pure fire!!!" Yet another admirer exclaimed, "Somebody get Barbara Streisand a mic so she can drop it! BOOM! #CelebrationForChange." As another viewer concluded, "This is so inspiring. My heart is just bursting. We are going to win this, together."
