Joe Biden channels his inner Hillary as he calls Trump fans 'ugly folks', Internet calls him a DC 'Swamp lunatic'

'This isn’t a political statement like those ugly folks over there, beeping the horns... this is a patriotic duty, for God’s sake'

Democratic challenger Joe Biden has called President Donald Trump’s supporters “ugly folks” and “chumps”.The comments came during Biden’s Minnesota rally on October 30 when a group of rowdy POTUS supporters derailed Biden’s rally by honking horns during his speech. At the rally, Biden supporters were majorly outnumbered by a large group of enthusiastic Trump voters who assembled across the street at St. Paul at the venue of the rally. They then began interrupting Biden’s address as he spoke to his supporters. With such interruptions, the former VP became very infuriated as the group repeatedly blasted horns and sirens.

This constant annoyance made Biden say, “These guys are not very polite, but they’re like Trump.” He added, “But look, they’re going to be OK. We’re going to take care of them as well. We need to come together. We need to fight for all these folks.” As the honking grew louder and did not stop, Biden said, “This isn’t a political statement like those ugly folks over there, beeping the horns. This is a patriotic duty, for God’s sake.” A user posted about the interruption at the rally.

Later, while lashing out at Trump over the POTUS’ tax cuts, Biden said: “91 out of the Fortune 500 companies paid zero in taxes last year. Why? Why should a firefighter, an educator, and that guy blowing that horn, why should he pay?” Biden asked taking a jibe at the Trump supporters. He then said to the crowd that he’s running as a Democrat but will govern as an American president for everybody. “I’ll work as hard for those who don’t support me as those who do, including those chumps at the microphone out there,” he said.

Previously in October, Biden reportedly attacked disruptive Trump supporters calling them “chumps” in his Pennsylvania rally. The comment evoked the “basket of deplorables” speech of Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election. At that time, Hillary Clinton spoke in New York City and reportedly said half of Donald Trump’s supporters belong in a “basket of deplorables” characterized by “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic” views.

After Biden’s comments dropped on Trump supporters he was slammed by many on social media. People said he is not acting as an uniter of the nation. Author Charlie Kirk wrote, “Joe Biden calls Trump supporters ‘ugly folks’ in Minnesota. Just a week after he called them ‘chumps’ in Pennsylvania. Democrats aren’t even trying to hide their contempt for the American people at this point.” A user wrote, “Biden speaks like a Swamp Lunatic. SwampPR says to make nice, talk about 'bringing the country together'. Then SwampReality happens: Biden Calls Trump supporters ‘UGLY FOLKS’ Sadly, U see a similar lunacy in Trump-haters, whether ‘secular’ or 'Christian'.”

Another user wrote lashing out at Biden, “Calling people he disagrees with deplorable, chumps and ugly. Biden sucks at being a uniter.” A user trolled him, “What a sleaze bucket! Biden is slammed for calling Trump supporters 'ugly folks' at the rally.” Yet another wrote: "It's a good point. Hillary called Trump voters, ‘Irredeemable’ & ‘Deplorables’. Obama said rural Pennsylvania voters ‘cling to their guns & religion’. Biden called Trump voters ‘chumps’ & ‘ugly’. Trump is going to Democrat districts, asking Democrat voters for their votes.” However, one user supported the former VP, “Ugly folks over there... yep, Biden won’t tolerate discord, divisiveness. He’s gonna represent the ugly folks.”
