Jimmy Kimmel mocks Kanye West, asks whose speech will he interrupt, Internet says rapper will 'rush the stage'
American television host Jimmy Kimmel, who is known for his slapstick humor, took a slight dig at Kanye West after the rapper voted for himself on election day. The 52-year-old writer and producer took to his official Twitter account and posted a one-liner status saying, "Excited to find out whose acceptance speech will get interrupted by Kanye," probably referring to Grammy-winning rapper’s infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards controversy where he had cut short Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech to defend Beyonce.

Kanye, who was also running for the coveted post of the US president this year, had most recently shared on his Twitter account about how he voted for himself saying, “God is so good. Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust... me.”

Interestingly, presidential candidate Kanye is all set to appear on Kimmel’s popular talk show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ a day after the presidential election on November 4, as reported by Deadline. West has qualified for ballot access in 12 states but he lost appeals in five states including Arizona, Ohio and Wisconsin, and missed the deadline in other states as well, the publication reported.
Internet was quick to react to Kimmel’s sarcasm-filled status. One shared a funny picture of Kanye with President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden and stated, "Did you not see him at the debates?" One asserted, “He will be giving his acceptance speech before it’s called. He made Kim make an assistant write one." One individual made fun of Kanye and tweeted, “What are you talking about? Kanye is going to win! LMAO.”
Another stated, “If Trump wins he will interrupt Trump’s speech. If Biden wins, he will interrupt Trump’s and Biden’s speeches.” Another added, “He's the only exciting character in this whole ordeal.” One made fun of the rapper and said, “I can't wait to see Kanye rush the stage and take the presidency away from the winner.”

If Biden wins, he will interrupt Trump’s and Biden’s speeches 🤷♀️
I can't wait to see Kanye rush the stage and take the presidency away from the winner. 🤣👍

To reiterate, Kanye was cruelly trolled over his actions in 2009 after he interrupted Swift’s speech during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. While defending Beyonce for the Best Female Video category, the rapper had then said, “Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'mma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!"
