'Jessica Jones' star Krysten Ritter gives birth to 1st child, baby boy Bruce

The child's birth and name haven't been officially confirmed by the actress but reports stated Baby Bruce was born July 29 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ritter first announced her pregnancy at the 2019 Oscars in February.

'Jessica Jones' star Krysten Ritter is now a proud new mom after giving birth to her first child, a baby boy. Based on a birth certificate obtained by TMZ, the baby has a pretty cool name.

Ritter has reportedly named her son Bruce Julian Knight Granofsky. It seems the child will be taking his last name from Ritter's boyfriend, The War on Drugs frontman Adam Granduciel, whose real last name is Granofsky.

The child's birth and name haven't been officially confirmed by the actress but People reported that Baby Bruce was born on July 29 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ritter first announced her pregnancy at the 2019 Oscars in February. The 37-year-old actor showed off her baby bump under a long-sleeved fitted lace gown featuring red floral appliques as she walked the red carpet at the event.

Ritter put her baby bump on display for the second time in March. She shared an image on Instagram wearing a black-and-white polka-dot wiggle dress that highlighted her belly. “New dress and ready to rock,” she captioned the snap.

Her social media followers have closely followed the former 'Breaking Bad' actress throughout the later stages of her pregnancy. She gave her fans regular updates, sharing photos of herself in swimsuits and posting videos of her dog Mikey preparing for the baby.

Ritter posted a video in April of her pup sitting next to a car seat with the caption, “Baby gear! I thought for sure Mikey would think this is for him but he seems pretty unfazed (for now)." Ritter celebrated the coming of her little one with a baby shower in early June, which was attended by family and friends including her friend and former 'Defenders' costar Mike Colter, who played Luke Cage on 'Jessica Jones' and in his own show 'Luke Cage'.
