NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Robert F Kennedy Jr's upcoming announcement has stirred up political discourse surrounding the 2024 Presidential Election.

Both Democrats and Republicans could be drastically affected by his independent run.

Fox News hosts seemed to be divided over this as well, especially Jesse Watters who is convinced that RFK Jr's run will ensure Donald Trump's win.

When Jessica Tarlov came in to present facts that could prove his theory wrong on 'The Five', Watters effectively shut her down.

Jessica Tarlov on why Republicans would vote for RFK Jr

Tarlov, who takes up the designated rotating Democrat seat on the popular Fox News show, brought up the reasons why this independent run could be a threat to the GOP's voter base than the Democratic Party.

"He [RFK Jr.] was on a podcast...and he said 'Yeah, I pulled from Trump," Tarlov pointed out.

"And you know why? His approval rating with Democrats is negative 31 in the New York Times Siena poll and guess what he is with the Republicans? Plus 28," Tarlov added.

She was then cross-questioned here by Watters as he asked her, "Then, why is he at 16 percent in the Democrat primary?"

Tarlov responded saying, "I would re-poll the whole thing now; it's been a few months later."

The poll Watters was referring to happened back in June when RFK Jr had continued to retain his Democratic party association.

According to Tarlov, his departure from the party has caused many of the voters to change their minds.

"Can I just say that there's a difference when he's running within the Democratic party name, right?" Tarlov asked.

"Someone wants to express an anti-Biden vote then they're gonna go with the other Democrat. But if he is not a Democrat, and voting for him means they are going to elect Donald Trump," he added.

Here, Watters decided to cut off Tarlov's explanation.

Jessica Tarlov slams Jesse Watters for being 'utterly incoherent'

Watters did not let Tarlov complete her sentence.

Each of the hosts is given a few minutes to talk during a segment, but Watters refused to let Tarlov have her own time to elaborate on her arguments.

"So, the Never-Trumpers are going to vote for Kennedy. Is that what you are saying?" Watters questioned as he let out a laugh.

Tarlov denied that takeaway was correct and went on to say, "I'm saying that there are Trump voters who [would vote for RFK Jr.] like his anti-vax stuff."

She was cut off again as Watters spoke back, "Vax isn't an issue anymore, he's not to the right of Trump on any issue!"

"You have been so utterly incoherent in this block," Tarlov fired back as she raised up her hands in defeat.

"I'm so coherent; I'm incoherent to you!" came Watters' childish reply.
