Mike Sorrentino is a free man! In today's episode (March 5) Mike finally gets out of prison after he being in prison for eight months on account of tax evasion.

His wife, Lauren Pesce decides to go get him along with the producer of the show. Lauren reveals that she used to visit Mike every week when he was in prison but this is the first time she was actually happy going there.

She adds that she is finally happy to know it was finally happening and it felt real. Once they arrive, the two walk hand-in-hand out of prison and we see how happy Mike is to finally walk out of prison.

Mike and Lauren had a tough time a couple of months after they got married when he got to know that he will have to spend time in prison.

While one would have thought that it would have been the dealbreaker in their relationship, Lauren and Mike prove that love does conquer all. Talking to the producer, Lauren says that even though she is excited about Mike getting out, she has decided to focus on one day at a time.

Lauren shares that Mike has taught her not to think about tomorrow and live each day for what it is. She hints that this advice is what kept her going when Mike was in prison.

Meanwhile, once Mike got out of prison, apart from reuniting with his Jersey Shore family, he says that he is excited to spend some time with his wife.

He feels happy about finally getting a chance to hold and kiss his wife. Mike decides that he would meet the cast members first and then head home to change into some comfy clothes and spend the rest of the time with his wife.

Fans love the couple and praised Lauren for the strength she shows when Mike was in prison. "@lauren_pesce is such a strong woman and an amazing example of strength," read one comment. Another added, "So happy @lauren_pesce is getting her man back."

There is no doubt that Mike is all set to have some fun now that he is finally free and we are also excited to see how these upcoming days turn out for the cast.

'Jersey Shore' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
