'Jersey Shore': Mike 'The Situation' bags lead role in 'The Shorefather' as cast prepares for movie premiere
Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino has been out of prison for a while and the cast is making sure that everything they do makes him feel better and at home. For this purpose, the cast thought that it would be great to present Mike with a video that showed how much he had evolved over the years.
After being in prison for eight months over tax evasion, Mike was a changed man. The cast wanted to make sure that he was reminded of how long he had come while giving him hope and positivity about the future. They thought that the best way to do this would be to show him all the videos of him. Vinny Guadagnino was the mastermind behind this as he had previously made a video for Mike's wedding. The cast decided to give him the job of making the video while the others thought that they had to do something different while presenting him with the video.
Finally, the idea of having the video in the form of a movie hit them and that was the start of something spectacular. The cast decided to have a movie premiere and present it to Mike in the form of the movie as well. They chose the perfect name to describe it and called it "The Shorefather", taking a spin at the cult classic, 'The Godfather'.
All of them helped out equally and were quick to order all the props that would make it look like a movie premiere. Once the props were in the house, the cast did not waste any second and started decorating their backyard to make it look like a movie premiere night.
Vinny's video was all ready in time and the cast was set for Mike to come to the house with his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, and watch the movie. Once he arrived, they surprised him with the decoration and Mike admitted that he felt like a movie star watching what all the cast had done for him.
As the movie started, Mike could not believe some of the moments but realized that a lot had changed and he was in a much better and happier state. He confessed that it was the best surprise that he had received while the cast rejoiced that their plan to surprise him was successful.
'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
