Did Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer fancy each other? 'Friends' castmates drop reunion bombshell
For decades, Ross and Rachel from 'Friends' have remained one of the most iconic couples in popular culture. The audience sailed through the show shipping them, hoping they'd get together in the end. The fandom's wish came true when their characters complied. Two decades later, in a shocking revelation from 'Friends: The Reunion', Ross and Rachel actors David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston have revealed that they used to have crushes on each other in real life as well.
Fans are now over the moon guessing that it was not all acting when the two castmates were romantically involved on screen in the first few seasons of the show. The actors even acknowledged that their reel-life chemistry was so convincing perhaps because they flirted with each other off the screen, according to The Sun. The shocking truth came out when Reunion host James Corden inquired about off-screen romances between the cast members while filming the show.

Real-life crush?
During the course of the hour-long reunion episode, host James Corden asked the six lead cast members, "Will you allow me to ask what I would consider to be a cheeky question? It's impossible not to realize and see that you're all young, hot, good looking successful actors, that it's inconceivable to me that there weren't perhaps off-screen romances.”
To everyone's shock and surprise, Jennifer Aniston turned towards David Schwimmer and said, "Well..I mean, David?" Schwimmer then went on to admit, "The first season, I had a major crush on Jen," while she adds that the feeling was mutual.
"At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship. So, and we never crossed that boundary, you know we respected that," Schwimmer said. Matt Le Blanc then added fuel to the fire by calling them out saying, "Bulls**t".
However, both Schwimmer and Aniston emphasized that they never got together. In fact, Aniston once said to her co-star and on-screen lover David 'Ross' Schwimmer, "It's gonna be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television."
"Sure enough, first time we kissed was in that coffee shop. So we just channeled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel," she added. 'Friend The Reunion' was watched by millions of the show's fans from all over the world.
