Woman tricked ex-boyfriend's new partner into sending her nude photos and then posted them online
A jealous ex-girlfriend tricked her former boyfriend's new girlfriend into sending her nudes and then posted them online. 26-year-old Blerina Dobla wanted revenge against the woman dating her ex after he broke up with him, a court heard.
Dobla had contacted the woman while posing as a man who wanted to date her. She then persuaded the woman to send her private pictures of herself via Snapchat including a video of her nude in the shower. Dobla shared the video on Instagram and also more semi-nude pictures of the woman and then tagged her friends and family.
The victim was told of the pictures by a friend but was then unable to see them. As reported by The Sun, prosecutor Chidi Ikwuakolam shared, "Ms. Dobla had been in a relationship with a male who then entered into a relationship with the complainant. Ms. Dobla formulated several social media accounts and contacted the complainant under the alias of a male."
"The contact between them continued and Ms Dobla persuaded the complainant to send videos and photos of a sexual nature of herself on a number of occasions. This was via Snapchat and the complainant thought they would be deleted automatically, but they were retained. On January 30, 2017, a video was posted on Instagram that tagged the complainant."
"It was the victim naked in the shower. On November 1 the complainant received a call from a friend that an Instagram account tagging her family and friends contained photos of her undressed," the prosecutor added.
Dobla who lives in South West London was tracked down by the police and arrested at work. She denied the offenses at the time she was being questioned. However, at the Camberwell magistrates’ court on Friday, Dobla admitted to sending indecent communications. She was able to clear her bail and will return for sentencing on June 28. Magistrate Pamela Donovan warned Dobla that a prison sentence was a possibility.
