SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA: Santa Monica Police Department announced on May 8, 2023, that California tech CEO Beau Mann, who went missing in 2021, has been found dead. The press release says on April 25, "the Santa Monica Police Department received information that human remains were found in the courtyard of an abandoned property in the 2900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard." He was found about 20 minutes away from where he was reportedly dropped off in his Uber on November 30, 2021.
Now Mann's fiance, Jason J Abate, has paid a touching tribute to him on Facebook. In a heartbreaking post after Mann's remains were found, Abate wrote, "I have so many questions and no answers. Beau, how can you be gone, how do all of these memories exist so vividly and you’re gone? Can someone please explain to me how this is possible. I need someone to help me understand this. Beau, I still have your toothbrush where you left it and every single room in this house has your beautiful spirit attached to it."

"I can’t move even a inch without seeing you because everything has a memory of us and I can’t breath. You’re not just “remains” found I can’t stand one more time I hear about your “remains”. Please stop saying remains, just stop saying dental records. Please don’t let anyone cut your beautiful soul that was bigger than life down to just remains," he added.
Who is Jason J Abate?
According to Abate's Facebook profile, Abate is a digital creator. After Mann went missing, Abate set up a Facebook page titled 'HelpFindBeauMann,' which he used to post regular updates about Mann's disappearance and recent developments in the case.
Mann and Abate met after matching on a dating site a few years before Mann went missing. At the time, Abate was visiting Texas for a wedding. During the short trip, Abate and Mann had planned to meet for coffee, but they could not manage it. However, they met several weeks later in New York City, according to NBC News. "He told me he loved me, and he wanted to adopt children with me," Abate had previously recalled. "That was the last message I ever got from him."
After Mann went missing and Abate was unable to contact him, he initially did not think anything of it. But as time went by, he eventually reached out to the police in Los Angeles and urged them to conduct a welfare check on him. Mann's assistant filed a missing persons’ report on December 4, 2021. It is said that Mann's phone records revealed that his last text was to 911.
'His soul will always be with you'
Many social media users reacted to Abate's post, with one saying, "His soul will always be with you. And he will give you signs that he is right beside you. Hugs". "Don’t give up Jason!! I pray you get answers soon," another wrote. "I’m so sorry love. His soul is still here. Helping you along the way, joined hand and hand, hip to hip. A body is so very little compared to the soul. His soul is forever. Know that you have a piece of it," wrote one user.
"So sorry Jason that you are going through this. I hope you finally get some peace when all your questions are answered," one user said, while another wrote, "Bigger than life…more beautiful than was necessary inside and out I HATE all of this for you. My pain is mourning a 25 year old friendship and I am stunned into silence. He loved you he will not be forgotten and you have all the support you can ask for. I love you because he did…I cannot wrap my head around any of this. I am sick, sad and grieving with you for what it is worth. This man helped make me awkwardly become the beautiful woman I am today with what he gave me. I am so sorry this story did not end the way we all hoped.I love you reach out if you need to talk..my heart is broken that you lost your soulmate". One user said, "I’m really sorry to hear this Jason. Sounds like he was a good soul."
