Jamie Lee Komoroski: Glassy-eyed driver who killed Samantha Hutchinson can face up to 75 years in prison
FOLLY BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA: An inebriated driver who claimed the life of a bride on the day of her wedding appeared to be glassy-eyed in a new mugshot taken just hours after the deadly crash. As Samantha Miller, 34, and Aric Hutchinson, 36, traveled in a golf cart from their nuptials at Folly Beach, South Carolina, they were allegedly rear-ended by 25-year-old Jamie Lee Komoroski on Friday, April 28.
Sam died on the spot and her husband was left in critical condition after the vehicle rolled over a number of times over 100 yards. Komoroski was driving alone in a rented Toyota Camry which was way above the normal speed limit, traveling 65mph in a 25mph zone. She has a history of traffic violations that date back to 2018, according to Daily Mail. Komoroski became "uncooperative" when asked to take a sobriety test, police claimed, but she was an eight out of ten on the impairment scale.
