Jamie Komoroski: Drunk driver who mowed down bride Samantha Hutchinson pictured dressed as Bud Lightyear for Halloween

FOLLY BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA: Jamie Lee Komoroski, a 25-year-old female driver accused of killing 34-year-old bride Samantha Hutchinson after she drove under the influence and slammed into the back of the newlywed’s golf cart, is pictured dressed as Bud Lightyear. In the November 2018 photo with the caption, “To infinity and beerond!” Komoroski can be seen wearing tight shorts, a crop top, and Bud Light boxes wrapped around her legs and ankles.
Komoroski, who was going 65 mph in a 25 mph zone at the time of the crash, is facing three counts of felony DUI resulting in great bodily harm or death, and one count of reckless homicide, as previously reported. Komoroski who reportedly reeked of alcohol refused to take a sobriety test. She is now placed on suicide watch at Charleston County jail in South Carolina after she told an officer at the hospital that she wanted to kill herself, as per New York Post.

A look at Komoroski’s social media posts that refer to alcohol
Her Instagram account shows Komoroski's posts making references to alcohol multiple times. In her latest post, just a week ago before the fatal crash, she can be seen posing on a beach in a white two-piece. She wrote in the caption, “Did somebody say tequila?” Another uploaded on May 10, 2022, shows her holding a can with caption, "Chin up, butter cup!"
In October 2018, Komoroski, posed with two more girls as she held a bottle of sparkling wine towards her mouth. She captioned the picture saying, "Tailgate Queens." Another video shows her drinking. One more picture from 2016 showed her holding a can. Commenting on it, one wrote, "You aren’t even old enough to drink here. Seems alcohol has always been an issue. Now that has cost someone their life."

However, these pictures weren't the only ones that caught the attention of the internet. A picture, uploaded on March 28, 2023, shows her with a dog on the same beach where the couple had their nuptials hours before the crash. Many bashed her in the comment section. One of the wrote, "How sad it is to think of all the possibilities and potential you could have brought to this world. Just to waste it all and kill a beautiful bride on her special day. Altering the life’s of her family forever as well as the groom, her brother and her nephew. That are still in critical condition… They can also die at any moment but as of now life has been altered beyond understanding as well as possible life long complications they will have due to your recklessness and negligence." Another commented, "I’m not writing this comment in hopes she’ll see this, because she won’t and I’m glad she’ll spend most of her life in prison. But this is for anyone who thinks drunk driving isn’t bad, it’s beyond bad, it’s horrible. You’re not cool for doing it, no one is going to judge you for asking for a ride, getting an Uber, staying over, there are so MANY better options."
One more picture showed Komoroski dressed up as a bride where she wrote a caption that read, "Got married once.... sucked." An Instagram user wrote, "This is really sick considering what you just did." One more wrote, "This pic did not age well."
