Recently James was seen hitting the road with his friends. They appear to be taking a ride on a military-style truck. James documented the video in which he makes a "OK" sign with his hands at the end. However, the sign was interpreted by fans as something else. Since James had only white friends on the truck, the "OK" sign was interpreted by fans as a sign for "White Supremacists" These accusations came after James liked a post about a new anti-LGBTQ+ law that was passed in Uganda's parliament. The 21-year-old recently posted a video on Instagram where he is seen making some gestures as he sat in the truck. Towards the end of the video, James was seen holding his hands in a way as if making an "OK" sign. However, this was interpreted the opposite way by the fans. A fan took the screenshot of his photo and posted it in the Reddit thread claiming, "Is james pretending to be high or throwing up a White power sign?" A fan interpreted James' sign to be, "That sign was kidnapped, tortured, and forced to change by the far-right White power community." Another claimed, "The hand signal 👌 has become a White power symbol." Another called him, "James is super annoying." Another fan posted his theory, "My theory is that he wants to be a certified "f**k boi" so bad because he thinks it looks cool and edgy.. He likely knows what this gesture can signal, and he doesn't care. He'll never get called on it because whose to say it isn't just an "ok" symbol?"
Is James Duggar homophobic?

He did not comment anything opposing the news but instead just went ahead with a liking, hinting that he might allegedly be in support of homophobia. James' liking of a post that reports the potential killing of LGBTQ+ people is concerning. However, James' support toward homophobia does not come as a surprise as the Duggars are vehemently anti-LGBTQ+, except for a few who left the community.
