Father of murdered toddler James Bulger launches legal bid to reveal new identity of Jon Venables
The brand new identity of child killer Jon Venables could soon become public knowledge after James Bulger's father and uncle launched a legal challenge against the order that granted Venables his lifelong anonymity. Father Ralph Bulger and uncle Jimmy Bulger are all set to argue against the High Court order that was issued in 2001 which allowed Venables to live the rest of his life in anonymity. The convicted killer has been living under a new identity since he was released from his life sentence for the kidnap, torture, and murder of 2-year-old James in 1993.
James Bulger was murdered by Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, who were both 10-years-old at the time, after they abducted him from a shopping center in Bootle, Merseyside. The children were both given lifelong anonymity and have lived under new identities since they were released, the Daily Mail reported.
