Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal has acknowledged that filming sex scenes with Jennifer Aniston was "torture." The celebrity said that it was "awkward" to film the intimate love-making scenes with the attractive woman while filming the comedy ‘The Good Girl’ in 2002.

When he appeared on 'The Howard Stern Show', Jake joked: "It was torture, yes it was, but it was also not torture. I mean, come on. It was like a mix of both." He confessed to the host that it was more difficult to film since he had a tremendous crush on the ‘Friends’ actor. The movie follows two lovers who had an affair after growing disillusioned with their meaningless occupations. "Weirdly, love scenes are awkward because there are maybe 30, 50 people watching. That doesn't turn me on. Most of the time, it's oddly mechanical, right? And also it's a dance, like, you choreograph it for a camera. It's one of those like a fight scene, you gotta choreograph those things and I always have tried.”

Jake revealed to the show's host Howard that Jennifer had advised them to use the pillow technique to make themselves more at ease during the explicit sequences. "That was just pre-emptive and used generally always when actually in a horizontal place in that movie. I think that was actually a Jennifer suggestion, she was very kind to suggest it before we began. She was like, 'I'm putting a pillow here'."

The ‘Donny Darko’ actor also talked about his relationship with girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu and whether or not a wedding and a family might be in the works. Jake and the French model started dating in 2018 and Jake stated that he wanted to "be a good husband and a father." The Oscar-nominated star added: "Now that I have fulfilled a lot of things in my career that I feel comfortable with, I can safely say that. I don't know if I could have said that before."

Jake claimed that his older sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, a fellow Hollywood celebrity, had encouraged him into adopting this way of thinking. She is a parent of two daughters, Ramona, 16, and Gloria Ray, 10, with her husband Peter Sarsgaard. Jake rarely discusses his relationships, however, he did have a two-month relationship with Taylor Swift near the end of 2010. Several of the songs on her 2012 album 'Red', which she did not specifically name, were supposed to be about her breakup with Jake. ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together’ and ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ in particular were widely believed to be intended against Jake. His past relationships have also included Kirsten Dunst who he met through his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal.
