Jack Nicholson’s pals urge him to contact lovechild Tessa Gourin after she reveals he's her dad
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Days after Tessa Gourin, 28, opened up about her lack of relationship with father Jack Nicholson, it is now being rumoured that the actor’s friends are urging him towards making amends and finally acknowledge her. “Delving back into the past is Jack’s worst nightmare, but the feeling is he needs to make this right,” an insider shared. Nicholson is father to five children (excluding Gourin) - Ray, Lorraine, Caleb, Jennifer and Holly.
Nicholson was notorious for his playboy personality back in the day and had no lack of partners. Gourin was born in 1994 after one of his short whirlwind romances with her mother, an NYC waitress, had resulted in pregnancy. Though Nicholson knew of Gourin, it seems as though he has not gone ahead and taken initiative to be part of her life. Interestingly, Gourin does claim that despite the lack of bond, Nicholson did put her through private school. She talked about being warned “not to tell anyone that I have this famous dad. I know he was powerful and Daddy Warbucks-level rich, so I kind of equated my life to being like Orphan Anne’s.”

Naturally, a matter as sensitive as this always attracts opinions and Gourin was worried about being teased for trying to use her estranged father’s name for her own ends. "I was afraid people would think I was tacky or that I was riding off his coattails," Gourin said. "But this person doesn’t want me in his life, so how would you use that to your benefit?"
Jack Nicholson: A pale shadow of a superstar
It has been over ten years since Nicholson had last graced the screens, and the actor has now taken to living out his last days in a quiet and private fashion. The actor resides in a huge mansion in Mulholland Drive, a close-knit community where he is a loved man by those around him, RadarOnline reports. "Jack and I have been friends for years and he doesn't leave his house anymore... I think his son and daughter are looking after him now,” a friend of the actor had said.
He then went on to add, “The Mulholland Drive community is pretty close-knit, and they are all worried about him. Physically he is fine- but his mind is gone. It's really sad to see such a super-talented actor, like Jack, go out this way.”
