Jack Black, the exuberant frontman of the rock band Tenacious D has taken his wild, extroverted personality to new heights by joining the social media platform TikTok. The 'School of Rock' star has made a name for himself for his crazy and playful antics and decided that the video-sharing network of TikTok was the next best place to express himself. The 'Tribute' singer is no stranger to sharing his larger-than-life persona with the world.

Last year, he started the YouTube channel 'JablinskiGames' and already has amassed more than 4.5 million subscribers on the video-sharing site. So it came as no surprise when Black decided to take his talents to Tiktok, which is arguably a more concise version of YouTube, geared towards making engaging video snippets and viral shares.

Although Tiktok is traditionally viewed as being better suited to a younger demographic, no one's telling Jack Black that - he's a giggling kid at heart, and it clearly shows! His @JackBlack TikTok channel already has close to 400,000 subscribers, and his first four videos on the channel already have close to four million views combined. The first video he posted to inaugurate his channel went viral, earning over 2.1 million views. It shows the hilarious Tenacious D star outdoors, chilling next to a skateboarding half-pipe on his property, clad only in a cowboy hat, shorts and cowboy boots.

The shirtless singer then proceeded to showcase what he termed the "Quarantine Dance" spinning around, doing jumping jacks, delivering roundhouse kicks, losing his hat in the process, and generally acting like the eccentric buffoon we all know and love. Black captioned the video "Quarantine Dance #reallifeathome #distancedance #happyathome #boredathome" and plenty of his fans were going nuts over the video, including some of his celebrity friends.

'The Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon commented, "Holy no. Just perfection. Nailed it. I didn't even see the hat come off," while the actor Justin Long said, "Literally just spent the last 10 minutes watching this on a loop." Long also adjusted for the current times we live in, quipping, "That's like a solid 4 or 5 non-quarantine minutes." The 'Robot Chicken' star Seth Green also posted "The content I'm here for, thanks." Jack Black's antics are a thing of beauty in these troubled times because the maniacal star is a force of nature who cannot be contained - you've just got to train a camera on him and let him do his thing. This man's a breath of fresh air, and is giving us all some much-needed comic relief during the ongoing coronavirus saga. Long may his chaotic reign continue!
