The 'It's Okay to Not be Okay' Episode 16 promo doesn't seem to move forward in the same vein as the end of episode 15. It seemed as if Kang-tae (Kim Soo-hyun) and Mun-yeong (Seo Ye-ji) have made up and that the former had managed to convince the latter that he will not leave her side. After all, that lean in for a passionate kiss that we have yet to see hinted at the two possibly moving on from the latest conflict towards a happy ending. However, the promo of the finale has left us confused.

So we first see Sang-tae say that he really wants to be an illustrator and not just sketch as an amateur. The beautiful scene of Sang-tae (Oh Jung-se) completing the mural with butterflies on the wall is an indication that he has definitely overcome his fear of butterflies. This would also mean that Sang-tae can now stay in one place for longer than a year. He won't have nightmares of butterflies following him to kill him. So that means things will wrap up on a happy note, right?

We also see Kang-tae feel left out after Mun-yeong and Sang-tae begin working on their fairytale. A hint of this was something that we had seen in the past and a full-blown ranting session ensues this time in the presence of his best friend Jae-su and publisher Seung-in. Sang-tae and Mun-yeong refuse to show Kang-tae what they are working on and that makes Kang-tae angry but after he drinks and rants to his friends, he feels better and takes a sneak peek into their work while they are asleep. He looks extremely happy, and this is another reason why we hope that he and Mun-yeong have a happy ending.

However, the promo throws a twist at us by showing us that Mun-yeong is serious about retiring. She tells Seung-in that the fairytale that she is currently working on with Sang-tae will be the last of her work. Does this mean that Mun-yeong will not be working anymore and is doing this as a favor to help Sang-tae? After all, we did see how Sang-tae had told her that he now wants to be serious about being an illustrator.

We also hear Mun-yeong apologize, and that makes us worry that she is apologizing to Kang-tae because she is unable to proceed the way Kang-tae wants. Will the camping car adventure end up being just a dream in the form of a fairytale?

'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' originally airs on tvN on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 pm KST in South Korea and can be streamed on Netflix.
