So far in 'Itaewon Class' Park Sae-ro-yi had been successful in his business, which gave him time to concentrate on finding ways to bring Jang Dae-hee down. However, all of that night disappear in the upcoming episode of the show. The promo of episode 12 features Jang Corporation and DanBam get ready for the third and final round of the competition that will crown the Best Pub in Seoul.

However, Jang Corporation is not really equipped to win this round because the chef who is competing for them continues to be reckless. However, Dae-hee seems to have found out that Geun-soo knows something that might help his company. We also see Geun-soo say that his card is something he doesn't want to use.

After having worked with Sae-ro-yi, there are things that Geun-soo knows which can be used to hurt Sae-ro-yi and DanBam. The question is if he will use what he knows. This episode also sees Ma Hyun-yi, the chief cook at DanBam being comforted by Sae-ro-yi in the promo. Does that mean people have finally found out that she is a trans person? It also seems as if Geun-soo might have had something to do with this news surfacing now.

We see Soo-ah confront Geun-soo and ask him if the hidden card that he had spoken about was the same thing that was all over the internet. He doesn't seem perturbed at all, and that makes us wonder if he is also changing into his older brother under the pressure that is being put by his father.

Then we see Sae-ro-yi's business face the biggest problem that he has so far faced and possibly in the absence of his manager, Yi-seo. After he rejected Yi-seo's confession of love, she might not return to work with him.

The promo of the episode also doesn't feature Yi-seo, so it would be interesting to see how Sae-ro-yi solves this new problem. DanBam had decided to go forward with opening franchises, especially after getting an investment of $10 billion. Now though, he is being accosted by those who had approached him for a franchisee, and all of them are telling Sae-ro-yi that they had signed up with him because they trusted him, but he seems shocked by everything that has happened so far.

He even wonders why people have a problem at all, considering they had all tasted the food that DanBam had created. During this time, if Yi-seo is not present to help Sae-ro-yi out, he might get in real trouble, especially if the public sentiment is against his pub. We will see how Sae-ro-yi deals with the new obstacle in episode 12.

'Itaewon Class' episodes can be streamed on Netflix.
