LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Joy Behar, co-host of 'The View,' has come under fire for her comments suggesting a connection between former President Donald Trump and the recent Hamas attacks in Israel.

Joy Behar raises questions about connection between Trump, Putin and Hamas

Behar labeled members of the Hamas as "monstrous people" and speculated about the motives behind the attacks.

She stated, "I would like to know whose behind this because it's very interesting that, now, I would think Putin is sitting back and saying 'wow, well they're sending their money to Israel, so maybe they won’t send them to Ukraine. They won't send the money to Ukraine now.'''

"I'm very suspicious of this. And what did Donald Trump tell Putin when he was in Helsinki. These are questions that need to be answered in this country," Behar said on the show.

She further expressed suspicion about the private conversation between Trump and Putin but did not clarify how it was related to the situation in Israel.

Donald Trump vows support for Israel

Trump, speaking at a presidential rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, condemned the attacks and pledged support for Israel.

He stated, "The terror invasion of Israeli territory and the murder of Israeli soldiers and citizens is an act of savagery that must be, and will be, crushed and avenged. As president, I will once again stand with Israel and cut off the money to Palestinian terrorists on day one."

In the midst of the ongoing conflict, a senior Hamas official, Ali Baraka, claimed that Putin is pleased with the situation in Israel. Baraka alleged that the attack had been planned by the group for two years and suggested that it distracts America from the ongoing war in Ukraine.

He said, "Russia is happy that America is getting embroiled in Palestine. It alleviates the pressure on Russians in Ukraine. One war eases the pressure," as per Daily Mail.

Another added, "Ya know.... That's an impossible twist to the truth."

A third claimed, "She needs to be kicked off the show !!!!"
