Is stress getting to Donald Trump? Ex-POTUS' mugshot weight is 25lbs less than 4 months ago
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Donald Trump’s mugshot has been released after he surrendered himself to the Georgia authorities. He is facing criminal charges for trying to topple the state's election in 2020.
He was reportedly put behind bars at the Fulton County jail on Thursday evening, August 24, before being released on a $200,000 bond.
The former leader has been pressed with multiple charges, which include conspiracy, racketeering, and soliciting a public official to violate their oath of office, CNN reported.
Did Donald Trump lose weight?
Following the revelation of Trump’s mugshot, speculations began that he has shredded several pounds, mostly because of the cases against him.
The 77-year-old was reportedly given P01135809 as his inmate number. Also, his height and weight were listed as 6 ft 3 in (1.905 m/ 190. 50 cm) and 215 pounds (97.5 kg).
Daily Mail reported that Trump’s current weight “is down about 25 pounds” from his April arrest in Manhattan. Also, he has lost a significant amount of weight since 2020 when he was said to be weighing 244 pounds (110 kg) by White House physician Dr Sean Conley.
The apparent weight loss of Trump has surprised many with CNN host Jake Tapper publicly remarking, “Wait, wait... what?” live on air after hearing the ex-POTUS body measurements.
