Prince Harry alleged that the Mirror, which continued up the Sun’s story, must have used a hacking method since they reported his girlfriend Chelsea Davy ‘was furious and had given me a 'tongue-lashing down the phone' following allegations that I had been flirting with a brunette at the party'. The royal said: 'How could the Defendant's journalists know about this?' On another account, Harry was questioned in a Mirror article titled "Harry's cocaine, ecstasy, and GHB parties," where his father Charles was referred to as 'worried sick' but later 'hugely relieved' after Harry told that he only used cannabis.
Harry was then asked about whether his own drug use, an illegal act, was in any way in the public interest when he was a teenager and third in line to the throne (presently he's fifth). The royal said, "There's a difference between public interest - and what interests the public."
