Is Honoka Kitahara jealous of Ayano Kudo? 'Love Like a K-Drama' star feels 'alone' after Lee Tae Gyun shares steamy kissing scene with Ayano
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: 'Love Like a K-Drama' returned to Netflix this week, with the cast starring in the series' third K-Drama. Heartbroken co-star Honoka Kitahara tries to see love develop between the two leads on set. The episode features a steamy sequence, as the Korean and Japanese actors try to give it their all for the performances.
Nozomi Bando and Honoka both went to the set of episode 3 of their miniseries to observe the actors in action. Honoka's life becomes difficult and burdensome when she is forced to witness a hot kissing scene between Tae Gyn and Ayano.
In the episode's behind-the-scenes footage, Nozomi asks Honoka what she thinks of the scene's filming. Even though Honoka confessed to being only inquisitive before the shooting, things quickly heated up.
Honoka admits becoming increasingly confused about her feelings for Tae Gyun as the director of the mini-series gets his perfect take. "It's like I've gone a full circle," she adds.
Nozomi noticed how Honoka was starting to feel excited, but then she felt "alone."
Honoka acknowledges "it's not easy" to witness Tae Gyun kiss someone else. But she is relieved that he is getting along with Ayono.
Honoka Kitahara picks Lee Tae Gyun for 'Love Like a K-Drama's first love triangle
Since it was a love triangle, the scenario for Episode 2 generated even more upheaval. Honoka and Kim Won-shik passed the audition after being assessed by an industry professor. Honoka had to pick another male protagonist because it was a love triangle. Tae-gyun was her choice.
In 'She's the One', two men fall in love with the same lady, and the female protagonist has a kiss with both of them that shocks her to her core. Honoka played Nana, a Japanese interpreter working in Korea.
Byeong Gwan, Nana's boyfriend and chaebol heir, was played by Won-shik.
Tae-gyun played Sang Gu, a man who has long had a hidden crush on Nana. Nana discovers that Byeong Gwan wishes to split up.
Sang Gu comes to her rescue and brings her home when she is sitting in the rain. They kiss in the heat of his apartment. Byeong Gwan, unbeknownst to her, is madly in love with her and is attempting to protect her.
She finds him fishing after understanding her feelings for him, and they kiss.
Ayano Kudo beats Honoka Kitahara to pair up with 'Love Like a K-Drama's Lee Tae Gyun
Honoka informed Won-shik after Episode 2 that she would select someone else for the next round. In an unexpected twist, 'Love Like a K-Drama' put the decision between the pair in the hands of the ladies.
Each of the male competitors sketched an item they wanted as a present. Each female participant had to select a partner, rush to purchase the gift, and return in time to be the first to present it to them.
Honoka and Ayano chose Tae-gyun's headphones. Only one made it in time to be the first, with Ayano partnering with him.
Rio and Honoka did not get their preferred choices and had to choose between Won-shik and Ji-hyun. Honoka eventually purchased a T-shirt for Ji-hyun, tying the two together.
Episodes 1-7 of 'Love Like a K-Drama' are currently streaming on Netflix.
