ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 'Prison Brides' star Erin recently disclosed that she is still legally married to her estranged husband before her impending marriage to fiance Michael. Even though the 33-year-old Australian native left behind her friends and family for her boyfriend Michael, she still has to cover a long way to get away from her past life.

As she landed in the US, Michael proposed to Erin and the couple decided that want to spend their life together. But the only problem is that Erin is still married. She is dicey about getting a divorce from her last marriage due to her "tight" financial condition.

Erin confessed that she does not have enough money and that getting a divorce from someone needs a lot of it. Now that she is also planning to marry Michael, it means that keeps aside a lot of money to fulfill her wants.

Not only is Erin still married to another man, but she also has a child with him. She left the child back in Australia. Fans are now wondering why Erin moved to the US when she was not ready to get married to Michael.

One questioned, "Wait! So Erin is STILL married?! I thought she was a single mom who left her son in Australia. Now we find out she's still married?! How is that supposed to work as a prison bride on a show called #prisonbrides?"

Another slammed the star and wrote, "Can't believe Erin has still been married all this time she has been in the US!" One wondered, "Why would Erin move to America if she couldn't get married because she's still married?"

A fan slammed Erin for leaving behind her child to be with a prison inmate, "Erin acts like she doesn’t have a whole kid back in Australia." "And this chick Erin left her kids for another repeat offender who’s been in prison longer than he’s been free," tweeted another. "Well it's a good thing that Erin is still married and can't marry Michael after what happens," wrote another.

The current status of the couple's relationship remains undisclosed. There is a possibility of them going separate ways as Erin stumbled upon finding something illicit in Michael's bag three months after his release from jail.
