Was Britney Spears crying? Fans want live chat with singer because they can't bear to see 'sadness in her eyes'
Britney’s fans were concerned the singer had been crying after seeing her latest picture
The fan-fueled #FreeBritney movement keeps getting bigger every time the American pop entertainer uploads her photos or videos on social media platforms. Taking to her official Instagram account, the 38-year-old pop sensation most recently posted a photo in a white peasant blouse and go-to khaki shorts. Spears, who has 26.2 million followers on the photo-sharing app, posed casually looking straight into the camera and captioned the pic as, “Just shot this one today !!! No, this is not apart of the rose project .... but yes I had another great hair day!!!!”
Just moments after sharing the pic, her fans started posting comments where the majority of them were concerned with the pop singer’s current situation. One fan questioned if she will come LIVE on Instagram to show she‘s okay, whereas one user stated, “She looks like she has been crying.”
Showing her concern for the ‘Baby One More Time’ singer, a fan commented, “Girl, I don’t think you safe, please reach out to someone. We’re here for you britannyyy!!!!!!!” Showing the same concern, another asked, “Do y’all see the sadness in the depth of her eyes. Makes me ready upset."
The American pop star also posted a series of photos and a very short video within a gap of a few hours on her Instagram account.
Britney’s loyal fans also stormed Twitter to make sure the #FreeBritney movement doesn’t go out of the limelight. Talking about the singer, one fan said, “So Britney has seen the free Britney post and wants us to go harder!? GOD DAMN IT WE ARE FREEING BRITNEY SPEARS ONE WAY OR ANOTHER! WHO’S WITH ME! #FreeBritney.” This comes after Britney's lawyers filed documents opposing her dad Jamie's motions to seal parts of her ongoing conservatorship case because she wants everyone to know what's up.
Another user took to Twitter and stated, “So yesterday we get told by the court that Britney Spears is NOT suffering from the disease that she was put under the c-ship for and today we find out that miss britney herself supports the free britney movement and wants her hearings to be public so we can see what’s going on.” TMZ reports that Britney's lawyers attached an article about the Free Britney movement and saying she's trying to get some personal autonomy back in her life. They say Britney "welcomes and appreciates the informed support of her many fans."

One fan said, “I love y’all but I want to make something clear. I’m not in this movement for you. I’m in this movement to free Britney Spears. Period. I’m happy to make friends along the way. But I’m doing this my way and you can do it your way.”

Looking at the fan’s reactions, it is pretty evident that the #FreeBritney movement is only going to get bigger. The campaign’s Change.org petition has already amassed more than 107,500 signatures in the past year and it has also got a positive response from celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Ariel Winter, Ruby Rose and Paris Hilton as well as the American Civil Liberties Union. The petitioner states: "The goal of this petition is to get that C-ship investigated for abuse and ultimately terminated so Britney can finally be free and live her best life."
