Luann de Lesseps branded 'racist' for calling 'RHONY' star Eboni Williams 'angry woman'

Who is Bershan Shaw?

Although Bershan joined 'RHONY' Season 13 a little later, she still managed to create history by becoming one of the first Black cast members on the show this season alongside Eboni Williams. Both Eboni and Bershan have finally given us the much-needed diversity amongst their predominantly White co-stars.

Just like Eboni, Bershan too is a woman of many talents. The 47-year-old was born and raised in Washington DC. She moved to New York for her higher education and hasn't left the Big Apple since then. She works as a motivational speaker, business coach and hosts the 'Buckle Up With Bershan' podcast. Bershan's biggest turning point in life came when she was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in her early thirties. In an interview with SurvivorNet, she shared where she got her drive and zest for life from.

She said, "My drive came from my story, believe it or not. My story of being a warrior, of getting stage 4 breast cancer and them telling me I have three months to live." But her diagnosis also helped her find the man of her dreams.

Is Bershan Shaw married?

Bershan hardly ever discusses her personal life. However, she opened up a bit about her relationship status in the past. According to Us Weekly, 'RHONY' isn't Bershan's first brush with reality television. She was one of the four main cast members on OWN’s 'Love In the City', which ran for one season in 2014. While promoting her first reality show she revealed that she was married and even discussed her husband.

She shared, "The reason I married him [is] because he stuck by me. Finding out that your wife has Stage Four breast cancer two weeks before the marriage could change your life. You can say, I can’t deal with it – the sickness, the chemo, the wearing scarves, the throwing up, the drugs, the debilitating – my husband stuck by me. He told me, ‘I’m going to be there. You’re my wife, I’m going to be there.’ Then I knew, this is the man of my dreams.”

Bershan never shared or posted anything else about her husband on social media, including his name. But a court paper discovered by Distractify revealed a little about the reality star's current relationship status. Bershan's husband's name according to the court paper is David W. Bradley, and the couple got divorced a few years ago. The outlet also speculated about things not ending on an amicable note between Bershan and her former husband.

Since then, Bershan has never been linked to anybody. This means that she is either single or probably seeing someone and has managed to expertly hide it from the public eye yet again. Hopefully, we'll get more answers from the star herself on 'RHONY'.
