NY Jets coach Robert Saleh worried over quarterback Aaron Rodgers' suspected Achilles tendon injury
EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY: New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh expressed concern over Aaron Rodgers' suspected Achilles tendon injury during the game against the Buffalo Bills on September 11.
The incident occurred four plays into Rodgers' debut for the Jets when Bills defensive end Leonard Floyd sacked him for a 10-yard loss.
What happened to Aaron Rodgers?
Rodgers sustained the injury on his first drive with his new team, the Jets. Although he initially stood up, he soon sat back on the turf, prompting trainers to rush out to check on him.
Rdogers was escorted to the medical tent where he was examined before he was taken in a cart to the sidelines from where he hobbled into the locker room.
While X-rays on Rodgers' left ankle yielded negative results, reports indicated that the Achilles tendon was the focus of concern.

As per NFL, Saleh said, "It's not good. An MRI is probably going to confirm what we think has happened, so prayers tonight. But it's not good."

The Jets initially doubted his return to be questionable but later downgraded him to out for the rest of the game during the second quarter.
The 39-year-old quarterback was seen wearing a medical boot on his left foot upon while returning to the locker room, indicating the seriousness of the injury.
