If you swear by the crime and thriller world on television, 'Interrogation' on CBS All Access is the show for you. Starring 'Dead Man Walking' actor Peter Sarsgaard and 'Outsiders' fame Kyle Gallner, the series puts the spotlight on a complicated murder case.
The trailer of the ten-episodic series begins with a powerful intro: “When cold case detectives reopen an unsolved case, they abandon the linear narrative presented in the files of the original investigation.” With all episodes dropping at once, viewers will see the day of the crime and then follow the evidence like a cold case detective, abandon the linear narrative and determine their own investigative path by watching the episodes leading up to the finale in any order.

Plot
'Interrogation' is a true-crime series based on a case that spans more than 20 years, in which a young man was charged and convicted of brutally murdering his mother. After being sentenced to life in prison, he continued to fight to prove his innocence. The story revolves around a true story, where a 17-year-old boy is charged and convicted of brutally murdering his mother for $150. The boy, who called 911, immediately becomes the main suspect — especially because he has a history of drug addiction.

Peter Sarsgaard
Peter Sarsgaard plays the role of Detective David Russel in the series. The actor, whose first feature film was 'Dead Man Walking' (1995), also starred in numerous movies like 'Green Lantern' (2011), 'Lovelace' (2013), 'Night Moves' (2013), 'Blue Jasmine' (2013), and 'The Magnificent Seven' (2016).
Kyle Gallner
Kyle Gallner plays Eric Fisher, who is the accused. The actor has been a part of films like 'The Haunting in Connecticut', 'Jennifer's Body' and the remake of 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' and has also starred in series like 'CSI: NY' and 'Outsiders'.
The other members in the cast include David Strathairn as Henry Fisher, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Chris Keller, Vincent D'Onofrio as Sgt. Ian Lynch, Joanna Going as Mary Fisher, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Trey Carano and Andre Royo as Charlie Shannon.
