NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: American columnist David Ignatius made the headlines after his recent opinion piece in The Washington Post.

His piece on President Joe Biden was titled, “Joe Biden should not run for re-election in 2024.”

Ignatius’ piece sparked controversy all over the internet, and in addition, he was also set to appear on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe.’

As per schedule, ‘Morning Joe’ took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their guestlist for September 13.

The internet couldn’t help but focus on Ignatius’ appearance on ‘Morning Joe’ with hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

‘Morning Joe’ reveals its guest list for Wednesday

Several guests were set to appear on ‘Morning Joe’ on September 13.

On X, the official account listed the guests, “Weds. guest list: Jonathan Lemire, Susan Page, Charlie Sykes, Jon Meacham, Pablo Torre, Commissioner Bill Bratton, Cedric Alexander, Claire McCaskill, Mike Barnicle, David Ignatius, Blayne Alexander, ctd...”



 

The guest list continued in another tweet, “...Arthur Brooks, Daniela Pierre-Bravo, Ryan Nobles, Rep Jared Moskowitz, Ian Sam, Andrew Yang, Debra Messing, Mandana Dayani.”



 

David Ignatius appears on ‘Morning Joe’

During David Ignatius’ appearance with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on ‘Morning Joe,’ Brzezinski summarized his opinion piece on Joe Biden.

In response, Ignatius said, “I admire many things that President Biden has done.”



 

However, Ignatius also amplified his stance on Biden running for 2024, to which he said, “I have my concerns.”

In response to the guest list, and David Ignatius’ appearance on ‘Morning Joe’ the internet has spoken, and they aren’t too pleased.

One person wrote, “More Meacham, less Ignatius please.”

Another one wrote, “We could have done without David Ignatius!!  I’m with Mika & Claire. The only sound opinions that made sense!!”



 



 

“I suppose David Ignatius hasn’t been getting as much attention as he feels he deserves. Have never found him very credible and now see he’s willing to say anything to get attention. He will no longer be welcome in my den,” wrote one person.



 

One user wrote, “Wow, never thought I’d say this, but couldn’t be more disappointed listening to David Ignatius this morning. Good for Mika for grilling him. He couldn’t stand up to it. Sorry, David,”

Another user said, “Cross David Ignatius off the list permanently.”



 



 

The one opinion that echoed through several ‘Morning Joe’ viewers continued to be, “Could have lived without Ignatius-tbh.”
