'The president we need!' Internet unites with Megyn Kelly to praise Ron DeSantis' Israel rescue efforts
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has gained significant political support from numerous American citizens for his efforts to repatriate them from the conflict zone in Israel.
DeSantis recently appeared on ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’, explaining in some detail how he managed to get Floridians and other US citizens out of Israel amid the ongoing war with the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
The 2024 presidential election candidate also called out the US Federal government for “charging” people to flee a war zone in Israel while allegedly allowing illegal immigrants into the country through the southern border.

According to Ron DeSantis, there is a substantial number of US citizens in need of assistance to leave Israel.
When they encountered a lack of support from the State Department and the embassy, he took action by issuing an executive order to facilitate the operation of flights to and from Israel.
DeSantis claimed with podcast host Megyn Kelly, “I passed the executive order last week, activating Florida Emergency response to be able to bring planes in there and take people back home.”
DeSantis detailed the horror and plight of the people stuck in Israel, disclosing that he saw mothers and families stranded with their children.
He said, “There were 91 children. You know, I had mothers that were stranded with three or four kids. I had one family with 10 kids that were trying to get back to Florida and now we didn’t limit it to just Floridians...we’re helping people get to New York or Georgia but it is for all Americans.”
DeSantis then moved to slam the US federal government for allegedly “flying” illegal immigrants into the country after they reached the southern border and instead ignoring and charging Americans to get back to their homes from a war-torn place in Israel.
He said, “I’ll tell you this though. You can come across the southern border and the federal government will fly you all across the country free of charge. They’ll put you up in nice hotels at taxpayers' expense...They’re not charging illegal aliens yet they are going to charge people fleeing a war zone and then dump them in Greece?”
DeSantis told Kelly that since the federal government is incapable of bringing Americans stuck in Israel back home, he has decided to “run more flights” to get these stranded people back home.
The Florida Governor mentioned a “void of leadership” in the country and expressed his desire to step up.

The Governor of Florida received all the love and praise from people around the nation and the podcast host Megyn Kelly for helping the stranded.
