Internet slams video allegedly showing cop making the 'sign' to Donald Trump Jr as he heads into court

Donald Trump Jr was summoned to court to provide testimony in the New York Trump fraud trial

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Donald Trump Jr was brought to the stand in a New York courtroom on Wednesday, November 1, to provide testimony in the civil fraud trial between his family and the Trump Organization versus New York Attorney General Letitia James.

However, footage from the day showing a cop at the top of the courthouse steps allegedly flashing a "W" at Trump Jr began circulating on the Internet, sparking debates over the meaning of the "sign."

While some X user sharing the clip claimed it to be the "White Power" sign, others slammed the interptetation and provided their own opinions on the alleged "W" sign.

In transactions with banks and insurers, the Trump Organization, the former president, and his two adult sons are accused of participating in a fraud scheme that brought them hundreds of millions of dollars by inflating property values and Donald Trump's wealth.

Trump Jr was the first of four family members to be questioned in the next several days over their participation in the family firm. He is scheduled to return to answer further inquiries.

It is also expected that Donald Trump, Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump will also testify, as reported by CBS News.

Donald Trump Jr testified for his alleged involvement in the case

While he managed the trust set up for his father's assets following the 2016 election, Trump Jr demonstrated his extensive familiarity with company projects by claiming to have worked in "an all-encompassing developmental role" as executive vice president.

Donald Trump's eldest son serves as executive vice president of the Trump Organization. In the $250 million lawsuit, it is alleged that Trump Jr and his brother Eric conspired to falsify their father's wealth.

Trump Jr was reportedly part of a top management group that had access to confidential information on the company's financial situation, according to the attorney general's attorneys.

One witness in the lawsuit claims that Trump Jr and his siblings were involved with the business even before their father was elected president.

The Trumps have charged James, an elected Democratic politician, with pursuing the defendants for political reasons, and have all denied any wrongdoing in the case.

A $250 million lawsuit against the Trumps and their corporation, along with several other measures, is aimed at restricting their business operations in New York.

This includes preventing Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr, and Donald Trump from ever holding an officer or director position in any state-operated corporation.

Netizens slam video of cop allegedly showing 'W' to Trump Jr

Internet users took to X (formerly Twitter) to slam the viral footage where the cop can be seen showing the "W" sign to Trump Jr, coming up with various explanations for the "sign."

One X user commented, "I'm pretty sure that it is for the 3%ers Many people have reported the video to various agencies, as well."

A second X user guessed it to be Courtroom 300 and said, "It’s 300, the court room number," while a third one added, "He said "300". So I'm guessing that's the room number he have to go at."

Another one claimed, "That was a 3. Not a white power sign. This is a white power sign. The cop did not flash anything like it."

"Sorry. I think that's reading too much into it. Grasping at straws," slammed another X user.

One more said, "Thanks for the heads up on the hand sign I thought he was doing a concealed one finger salute hidden between 2 fingers".

Another X user explained, "It’s the 3 Percenters’ sign. A Three Percenter is someone who advocates for a strict interpretation of the Second Amendment of the US constitution, strongly believing in armed rebellion against perceived government overreach, especially with respect to gun laws."

"Stop spreading misinformation. There is a full clip showing he was telling them to go to room 300. Don’t be a #Maga .they love lies," wrote one user.

One more typed, "He’s telling him the room number. as much as he is a white supremacist, labeling this as a wp sign is hurting your credibility".
