Internet slams Meghan Markle after source claims she felt her self-made status gave more speaking rights than Kate Middleton

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has recently come under fire on social media following claims from a source that she believed "she had more of a right to speak" than Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Markle reportedly found it challenging to accept the higher royal status of the Prince and Princess of Wales within the palace hierarchy after she became a part of the royal family.

This discomfort was especially noticeable during the Royal Foundation Forum in February 2018, according to the source, where the tension among the "Fab Four" was "palpable."

What did the source say about Meghan Markle?

An insider shared with The Telegraph that Markle, Prince Harry's wife thought "she was a self-made woman whereas Kate hadn't really had her own career."

They further stated, "She seemed to feel like she had more of a right to speak than her sister-in-law, who had married into the family as an unknown whereas Meghan regarded herself as a philanthropist who could teach the royals a thing or two about charity."

"I think she found it difficult that the Royal Foundation was already a well-oiled machine by the time she got there," mentioned the source.

Soon after Meghan Markle's alleged remarks about Kate Middleton came to light, netizens took to bashing the Duchess of Sussex. 

One wrote, "Self-made or self-entitled???" 

"Dear Meghan: self-made and self-centered are two completely different concepts," noted another.

Someone else claimed, "How was she self-made when it was her father and husband's connections that got her start in showbiz? And now it's her husband's title that keeps her afloat while she's back to hustling in Hollywood?"

"She's not a self made. She came 6 years after Catherine. There's hierarchy she could only play the second field. Nobody cares about what she has to say. Meghan is clearly jealous of Catherine," mentioned a person.
