Internet slams Hunter Biden as Fox News' Sean Hannity reports on his lawyer's withdrawal from federal gun case
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Richard Jones, the attorney who has been representing Hunter Biden in his federal gun charge case, submitted documents on Friday, October 6 to formally withdraw from the case.
This came after President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, entered a plea of not guilty to federal gun charges in the US District Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday morning. These charges arose from an indictment related to the investigation led by Special Counsel David Weiss.
Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to share more on Jones’ withdrawal and slam Biden's son, adding a link to an article that said, “Hunter Biden is out a lawyer for his federal gun charges.”
However, the internet didn’t respond well to the news and took aim at Hunter, claiming Jones’ abandoned him because “it’s a lose lose” case.

In the article, it is revealed that the attorney representing Hunter Biden has filed paperwork to withdraw himself from the matter.
According to Fox News, the documents filed by Jones said, “Mr. Biden has been advised of, and consents to, our withdrawal. He also agrees this withdrawal will cause no material adverse effect or prejudice to him and remains completely satisfied with Messrs. He further added, “Accordingly, our withdrawal as counsel will have no material adverse effect on Mr. Biden’s interests.”
