This came after Trump, along with his sons Eric and Don Jr, and Trump Organization executives, are facing a significant legal trial in New York involving a $250 million lawsuit.

This lawsuit has the potential to impact both the personal fortune and the real estate empire that played a role in Trump's journey to the White House. New York Attorney General Letitia James alleges that they were involved in a decade-long scheme, characterized by "numerous acts of fraud and misrepresentation," aimed at inflating Trump's net worth to secure more favorable loan terms.

Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to report on Alina Habba’s statement that called the civil fraud case a “waste of time.”

Also, the internet did not respond positively to Habba’s statement as several called her, a “crooked lawyer.”

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “HABBA: “We are now over a month deep into the biggest waste of New York taxpayer dollars I have ever seen."

Hannity’s tweet presented an article from his official website titled, “HABBA ON FIRE: Trump Lawyer Says Trial a 'Waste of Time,' Smokes Letitia James [WATCH].”

Following the adjournment of court proceedings for the day on Thursday, Trump's attorney Alina Habba stood outside court and offered a defense for the actions of Donald Trump's adult children in the aftermath of their testimonies.

She said, “These children are being brought in, away from their families, for doing nothing wrong.”

In line with former President Trump, Habba criticized New York Attorney General Letitia James and labeled the trial as "the biggest waste of New York taxpayer dollars I have ever seen."

Habba continued, “She piggybacked on Trump to get into office. She didn't do it well enough to become governor. This is a waste of time.”
