Internet shuts down claims by Fox News' Sean Hannity about Democrats 'panicking' after NBC's Trump vs Biden poll

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity shared a poll claiming Donald Trump's lead over Joe Biden

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Sean Hannity recently shared the latest poll by NBC where former President Donald Trump was polling “stronger” than President Joe Biden. 

NBC News and MSNBC anchor Steve Kornacki reported on the NBC poll, where he claimed, “It’s the first time in more than a dozen polls we’ve seen a result like this.”

As Hannity shared a part of Kornacki’s report on the same, he also took a dig at “Democrats panicking” on X, formerly known as Twitter, but the internet was not convinced.

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity wrote, “If Democrats weren't panicking already...”

With this, Hannity shared an article from his official website, titled, “'FIRST TIME IN HISTORY': Trump Beats Biden in NBC News Poll, MSNBC Shocked.”

In this, Hannity shared a clip of National Political Correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC, Steve Kornacki, who joined Meet the Press’ Kristen Welker to share NBC’s latest poll between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, where Trump held the lead.

Hannity’s article stated, “History is being made over at MSNBC…” It also read, “Donald Trump is now polling stronger than President Joe Biden —beating Biden within the poll’s margin of error for the first time in history.”

In the clip, Kornacki said, “Here it is. Donald Trump, we have at 46 per cent, Biden 44.”

Welker added, “This is significant because this is the first time in the history of our poll that former President Trump beats President Biden, still within the margin of error, but it’s still significant.”

Internet reacts to NBC’s poll shared by Sean Hannity

After Fox News anchor Sean Hannity shared a poll and talked about “Democrats panicking,” the internet was quick to respond.

One user wrote, “Don’t believe the polls. Their purpose is to influence opinion. Not measure it,” and another wrote, “No panic on the 💙side. We are just “Bidening” our time until we can vote in November 2024 and then we will show you what we think of these polls. See you there.”

“They are not panicking because they know they won already,” wrote one user, and another said, “Democrats aren't panicking. Projection once again.”

The Internet continued to shut down claims made by Hannity as one wrote, “Lol from an election a fucking YEAR away? Yeah No we’re not,” and another said, “No panicking... the polls have been wrong about the last two supposed 'red waves'. DT lost the popular vote twice,  and he'll lose it again.”
