Internet says Karine Jean-Pierre 'gets paid to lie' after Fox News anchor Sean Hannity shares a video of her defending POTUS

Karine Jean-Pierre explained that Joe Biden walked out when there was a 'pause' in the Medal of Honor but many remained unconvinced

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On September 6, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity shared a video of President Joe Biden walking away from the Medal of Honor Ceremony before the closing benediction. The next day, on September 7, Hannity shared a follow-up video for the internet.

In the second video shared by Hannity, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre explained why Biden walked out of the ceremony. Jean-Pierre claimed that Biden’s exit “was planned.”

After Hannity shared this video, the internet wasn’t convinced and lashed out at Jean-Pierre, calling her “a liar.”

As reported by AP News, “President Joe Biden awarded the Medal of Honor to Capt. Larry Taylor on Tuesday, honoring the Army pilot who risked his life during the Vietnam War.”

However, during the ceremony, the focus quickly shifted away from Larry Taylor as Joe Biden made the headlines for walking away before the ceremony ended.

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity shared a video of Biden walking out of the ceremony and wrote, “Biden Abruptly Walks Out of the Medal of Honor Ceremony, Even Before the Closing Benediction.”

The following day, Karine Jean-Pierre explained why Biden walked out, and Hannity shared a video of the same. Hannity wrote, “Jean-Pierre Says It ‘Was Planned’ for Biden to Abruptly Leave Medal of Honor Ceremony.”

In this video, Jean-Pierre said, “He (Joe Biden) left as planned, as it was planned, and he left when there was a pause in the program in order to minimize his close contact with the attendees who are about to participate in the reception.”

Internet remains unconvinced by Karine Jean-Pierre’s statement

Even after Karine Jean-Pierre took the stage at a press conference to explain why Joe Biden left the ceremony and how it was “planned,” the internet didn’t seem too convinced and lashed out at Jean-Pierre for the same.

As Hannity reposted the clip, one person wrote in the comments, “This lady is such a liar!” Another also said, “She gets paid to lie.” People continued to label Jean-Pierre a, “LIAR” on X in response to Sean Hannity’s video.

People have pointed out the problem with Jean-Pierre’s defense as one person wrote, “So it was planned to walk out on a man who served America with dignity.” Another user said, “Sounds like one of several coverups.”

One person held no bars as they tweeted, “She’s a natural liar. Arrogant, brazen, bullying, no eye contact, blubbering liar."
