Trump wears mask for Walter Reed Hospital visit, Angry Internet says 'he shouldn't be near any veterans'
While Donald Trump's previous visit to Walter Reed (where he "surprised" doctors with his cognitive test results) led to many speculations including him having a stroke, his latest visit to the medical center has once again become a topic of discussion. However, this time around, people are talking about the POTUS for the look he chose to don.
Trump was recently at the Walter Reed medical center to meet US soldiers who are recuperating at the hospital. When he arrived, people were taken by surprise on seeing him wearing a mask. A camera closely followed the president and focused on his masked face as he walked into the center with men from security and other officers, who were all seen wearing masks.
Soon, making use of the opportunity, Twitter began a discussion around Trump’s masked look at the medical center, which has garnered a wide range of reactions. The majority of them noted that he wore the mask only for the pictures. One wrote, "It's for the photo op at Walter Reed hospital. Trump visiting the sick, wearing his little mask for the pictures. Oh Joy, just like his words, you can’t believe anything. Remember: Trump is a wannanbe actor."

Meanwhile, a lot of internet users believe that Trump was forced to wear a mask as the medical center has mandated it and have also called him out for going back to roaming about sans mask after the Walter Reed visit. One user wrote, "Hey, @realDonaldTrump get a chance to pick up a copy of that Cognitive test while you were there? We all can't wait to see it! I'm sure Walter Reed blocked the visit without a mask. Don't see this as change. Bet he discourages masks again soon."
Another added, "He is huge-ly unmasculine, mask or not. Even so, I am glad to see he finally donned one. Also sure Walter Reed told him he couldn't visit without one. You? Wear a damn mask!" A few angry users pointed out that he shouldn’t be visiting patients at the hospital as he could be risking the lives of the soldiers, owing to his infamous opinion about wearing masks.

The rooms are filled with patriots, which you’ll never be, Putin's little lapdog," wrote one while another added, "So Trump wears a mask without protecting the Walter Reed wounded members of our military by wearing it off his nose. So predictable. He just doesn’t respect the #military or #coronavirus."
