WASHINGTON, DC: On Thursday, November 2, President Joe Biden met with the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader.

This meeting aimed to strengthen economic ties, democratic principles, and labor rights, as well as address the security situation in neighboring Haiti, reported NBC News.

However, the host of ‘The Benny Johnson Show’ and conservative political commentator, Benny Johnson, shared a brief clip from the meeting between Biden and Abinader.

In this clip, Johnson claimed that the Dominican President “trolls” Biden when he talked about the next summit held in 2025, and joked about Biden getting “time on the beach.” However, the video left the internet in splits.

Luis Abinader meets President Joe Biden

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Benny Johnson shared a brief clip of the meeting between the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, and President Joe Biden.

He wrote, “Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader TROLLS Joe Biden: The next Summit of the Americas “will be in Punta Cana, so you’ll have time to be on the beach.”

The full statement of Abinader was, “Mr. President, we look forward to welcoming you soon to the Dominican Republic at the next summit of the Americas in 2025, where we will continue to develop the bonds of propriety, security, and democracy, that bind us together.”

Abinader also joked, “And that summit will be in Punta Cana so you will have time to be on the beach.” In response, the two Presidents, Abinader and Biden simply chuckled and smiled at each other.

Internet responds to Joe Biden being ‘trolled’

After host Benny Johnson shared this video of Joe Biden being “trolled” by the Dominican President, Luis Abinader, the internet couldn’t help but mock Biden.

One user wrote, “Lol embarrassing,” and another said, “We're the joke of the world.”

Some said that the Dominican Republic would be “another vacation” for Biden, “I have been to Punta Cana, DR another Biden vacation.”

“This how you know nobody respects us,” expressed one user, and another wrote on X, “Every time I see @JoeBiden I cringe, but this was really awful.”

“Everyone knows Biden doesn’t work. He just likes to be at the beach,” wrote another user.
