NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sports betting has been legalized in Kentucky since Thursday, September 7, and Governor Andy Beshear made the state’s first wager at the famous Churchill Downs horse racetrack in Louisville.

After the legalization came into action, Beshear said. “Today is a great day to celebrate and have a little bit of fun doing so,” per The Hill.

He further added, “It has taken many years to get here, but sports wagering is finally a reality in Kentucky. This is a win-win for Kentuckians, who can enjoy a quality entertainment experience and benefit from funds staying right here in our state to help us build a better Kentucky.”

However, the same day, Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham took a brutal jab at Beshear and slammed "Democrats’ agenda."

On X, formerly known as Twitter, ‘The Ingraham Angle’ host Laura Ingraham brutally slammed Kentucky’s Governor, Andy Beshear after he wagered on sports following its legalization.

Her tweet read, “Democrats' agenda, succinctly put: At all costs, protect pot, porn, gambling, trans rights and abortion.”

Ingraham’s tweet featured an article from The Hill titled ‘Beshear makes the first wager as sports betting legalized in Kentucky’. The article confirmed that sports betting has been legalized in Kentucky and that their governor made his first bet.

It was revealed by the governor’s office that all his winnings would go to the Louisville Sports Commission.

With regards to betting, it is allowed for all sports at participating horse racing tracks and nine other locations throughout the state, and mobile betting is expected to begin later this month as per the article.

Internet labels Laura Ingraham as ‘embarrassment’

After Laura Ingraham’s tweet, people were quick to slam her. One person wrote, “@IngrahamAngle hates freedom unless everyone abides by her 'version' of freedom.”

Another added, “Geez Sloppy, you’re exhausting and boring. Always the same act.”

A fan simply called her a “Fake news trouble maker.”

Another commented, “People don’t believe this crap that her and Fox News puts out it’s all lies!” A fifth person mocked her, declaring, “Laura is an embarrassment to all women.”
