Internet joins Megyn Kelly in bashing The Washington Post's 'disgraceful' headline about Israel-Hamas war
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly lashed out at The Washington Post for coming up with an apparent ignorant headline related to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
The former Fox News journalist called out the revered newspaper on X, formerly known as Twitter, for not including the atrocities started by Hamas on Israel in its headline and allegedly making it appear one-sided.
For the unversed, on Sunday, October 9, Israel formally declared war against the Palestinian militant group Hamas, as it reeled from a surprise attack that killed more than 700 people.
Since 1973, this has been the largest attack on the state of Israel and the conflict began when Hamas militants "surprise attacked" and invaded southern Israel by land, sea, and air, and fired thousands of rockets deep into the country, leaving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu no choice but to declare "war."
Kelly who had been sharing updates on the matter, took note of The Washington Post article’s headline and criticised the paper for not painting a fair picture of the conflict.
Megyn Kelly calls out The Washington Post’s ignorance amid Israel-Hamas war
Kelly referred to one of the recent articles shared by The Washington Post on the Israel-Hamas war.
The headline of the article read, “Israel formally declares war against Hamas as hundreds killed on both sides.”
The 52-year-old revered journalist objected to the headline because it failed to mention that Hamas carried out the "surprise attack" on Israel.
Kelly posted a snapshot of the same article on her X account and then questioned, “Look at this Washington Post headline. How about: “Hamas Terrorists Murder, Kidnap Hundreds of Innocents in Unprovoked Attack; Israel Acknowledges: It’s War.”

Kelly has also been tweeting in solidarity with Israel, “These depraved cries of Allahu Akbar as terrorists murder innocent civilians are deeply jarring and I’m sure particularly traumatic for the 9/11 families to watch. My heart goes out to them today as well as our Israeli friends.”
