Internet dubs Donald Trump 'classless' as he imitates Joe Biden at California GOP fall convention

Alongside mimicking Joe Biden, Donald Trump claimed that Gavin Newsom has positioned himself over POTUS as 2024's Democratic presidential candidate

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA: Former POTUS Donald Trump recently came under fire after mimicking President Joe Biden during an appearance at the California GOP fall convention in Anaheim, as per the Daily Mail.

Trump apparently imitated the viral moment where a confused Biden was seen wandering around the stage after delivering his remarks at the UN General Assembly in New York City. 

While his mimicry elicited a burst of laughter from the audience, several netizens criticized the former president for his actions.

Notably, Trump's visit at the GOP fall convention came just two days after he skipped the second Republican debate.

What did Donald Trump say about Joe Biden at the California GOP fall convention?

During his speech in front of a ballroom full of about 1,500 attendees, Donald Trump seemingly attempted to claim that Joe Biden would not be the Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential elections even though the latter is currently running virtually unopposed in the primary. 

He suggested that California Governor Gavin Newsom has allegedly positioned himself as a top surrogate to Biden. "Gavin has become crooked Joe Biden's top surrogate because he doesn't think Biden is going to make it – that's why he's doing it," said Trump. 

The ex-POTUS further claimed, "He doesn't think he's going to make it, and it won't be him so easily," Trump continued. "He's going to have a big fight. However, because there will be a lot of Democrats competing it's going to be very interesting." 

"But let's see, look, some people say Biden's going to make it," stated Trump, before asking, "Does anybody think he's going to make it to the starting gate?" to the audience, resulting in a joint response of "No". 

He then referred to the viral video of Biden wandering around the stage and said, "I mean the guy can't find his way off of a stage."

"Look here's a stage," said the former President, adding, "I've never seen this stupid stage before – I've never seen it before. But if I walk left there's a stair. And if I walk right, there's a stair."

"And this guy gets up, 'Where am I? Where the hell am I?" continued Trump, walking around the stage aimlessly in order to imitate Biden's actions.

The Republican hopeful stated, "Nah, he's terrible," before concluding, "You know, I'm much tougher on him than I used to be. Out of respect for the office, I was never like – He's the most corrupt president, the most incompetent president we've ever had." 

At one point during his speech, Trump supposedly called out Biden using expletives.

"What they’ve done is they’ve gone after opponents so that if you become president or some other job, but if you become president and you don’t like somebody, or if somebody’s beating you by ten, fifteen, or twenty points like we’re doing with crooked Joe Biden, let’s indict the motherf****r! Let’s indict him," apparently said Trump. 

Internet calls out Donald Trump for imitating Joe Biden

As videos showing Donald Trump mocking Joe Biden surfaced online, several social media users took to X (formerly Twitter) to call out his actions. 

Pointing out the inappropriate language used by the ex-POTUS, one wrote, "tRump mocks President Biden: ~ 'Let’s indict the motherf****r. Let’s indict.' Very normal. Very presidential. Is this what you want representing you on the world’s stage??"

Another user stated, "He's disgusting," while one called him, "So gross. "

"Disgusting please lock him up," stated a user.

One more mentioned, "I don’t know what’s worse. The vulgarity or the audience cheering it on. So presidential!" 

"So classless," exclaimed another, with a person saying, "Disgusting disgraceful." 

One noted, "Americans wonder why world leaders laugh and mock him."

"Only place for Trump is the obsolete comedian’s retirement home," quipped another, with a disgruntled person pointing out, "He’s disgusting but is actually getting really rattled…losing the little restraint he had. He knows his days are numbered!"
