Internet doubtful as Fox News anchor Sean Hannity tweets about Hunter Biden's indictment, says it's all 'talk' and 'no action'

Sean Hannity tweeted that Hunter Biden's plea deal had been junked and he was likely to be indicted in September

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Thursday, September 7, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity tweeted a Rumble video, claiming President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, will be indicted in September.

Hannity's tweet comes after Hunter's plea deal, which allowed him to avoid jail time, was rejected.

According to the Washington Post, Hunter will likely be indicted on a gun charge and could face a trial during his father’s presidential campaign.

David Weiss, a government attorney appointed by former president Donald Trump, found out that Hunter had not paid taxes and lied on a form to buy a gun after five years of investigation.

Although Hunter agreed to plead guilty to the tax misdemeanors, attorney David Weiss reportedly decided to indict Biden on a gun charge later in September.

Weiss wrote in a status report to US District Judge Maryellen Noreika, “The government intends to seek the return of an indictment in this case before that date.”

Sean Hannity takes a dig at Hunter Biden’s indictment

Hannity tweeted an official video from ‘Hannity’ about Hunter's indictment. The tweet read, "Hunter Biden will likely be indicted this month."

In the video, Hannity said, “This is not a cause for celebration…It’s hardly even a step in the right direction when we talk about justice being blind.”

He continued, “Hunter is facing prosecution only because David Weiss got caught giving Hunter Biden that get out of jail free card in the form of a sweetest of all sweetheart deals in history.”

“No jail time, no serious charges, a gentle slap on the wrist, full immunity into the plea deal trying to get that past the judge,” Hannity added.

Sean Hannity's tweet on Hunter Biden garners mixed responses

Internet reacted to news of Hunter being indicted in September and slammed it as being only “talk” and no “action."

One wrote, “I will believe it when I see it all this talk it’s just talk talk talk it’s been at least a year and a half and it’s been the same dialogue but no action.”

Another said, "'Likely’? Nope. Nothing ever happens. Too many Dems and Reps swimming in the swamp together. And if any charges are sustained, it will just be a pat on the wrist.”

Another person penned, “Something miraculous will happen and he'll get out of it, again.” A person tweeted, “When I see it, I’ll believe it, and then his father will pardon him if it does happen.”
